Our Redeemer had its early beginnings in 1913 when a group of women with Lutheran backgrounds organized a Ladies’ Aid followed by worship services. The congregation was organized formally in 1917 and the church was built on the corner of Sargent and Main Street. It was the first Lutheran church to be built in Valley county.
